Many people ask, "What or who and why is Thiwtlig?"
Thiwtlig is a conundrum. You can submit your guesses as to its meaning to me here and I will tell you if you get it right. I will even tell you if you are "warm."
April 22, 2008: I have to give mad props to this guess: twilight, an anagram of Thiwtlig. Sadly incorrect, but brilliant. Thiwtlig is also not these anagrams: Light Wit, Wight Lit, Gilt With, Gilt Whit, nor Twig Hilt. Thanks to Cathy for pointing it out.
May 18, 2009: Ben has totally killed me, with this guess: "The happiness with Intevras will triple, life is good!" That's not correct, but the Thiwtlig Management LLC Board of Directors will entertain a resolution to change it to this.
August 23, 2009: Robert M. proposes "To hit is winning, to lose is game," and then rightly observes that this is senseless. Ah, right. Senseless. Then he throws out "The heart is willing" or "The head is willing" for the first half of the epigraph's acronym. All wrong. Thanks for playing.
October 19, 2009: Jason McN. is the first contestant correctly to divine the conundrum of THIWTLIG. All hail Jason McN.!
June 26, 2010: Massive Rice Owl kudos to Barton G., the second contestant EVER to suss out the Thiwtlig conundrum!
